Two ways of thinking, 2008/ 09

    What? Where? When?
Some drawings and screen printings presented in the exhibition.

Two ways of thinking is the name of my first solo exhibition in Norway. It had place in Galleri F12, Forus, Stavanger, between 26th March and 29th April 2009.

Project:
«Our understanding is correlative to our perception» (by Robert Delaunay, 1912).
And our perception is correlative to our body. This idea was developed by Merleau-Ponty, The Phenomenology of Perception (2002), when he says that we come to know ourselves and the world around us, in relation to our bodies. The project Two ways of thinking (2008/ 09) started from these two premises and shows the surprising result that I have a better perception of proportion and shape of human body when I draw with my left hand.
