Serie Doubles

      What? When?

Experiments in form (since 2009) are neither painting nor sculpture. They explore an extension of two dimensional works into three-dimensional space. Three dimensions are real space.

The stripes and the fields of colour define the spatial structure of the work, which divide and give unity to the composition.

«To appreciate a work of art we need bring with us nothing but a sense of form and colour and a knowledge of three-dimensional space. (…) a sense of three-dimensional space is essential to be full appreciation of most architectural forms.» by Clive Bell (Art:1914)
