My project was born from the visual motifs present in the traditional embroidery of Guimarães. In the old days, the ladies in love with someone should border a small piece of textile as a love letter to give to the man that they would like to engage. Normally in blue or red, these pieces illustrates the rural life, the nature of love trough visual elements (flowers, hearts, keys, birds) and poems of 4 verses. The cow was painted in a relief to allow blind people to percept the pattern. | ||||

| CowParade Lisbon was the largest cultural event that I have seen in Portugal, all media's wanted to speak and write about, but after several weeks with daily news it was impossible to put all of them here.
